Back to school season can be a time of excitement and new beginnings.
But it’s also an important time to stop and look at your expectations.
Or as I call them, silent contracts.
I want you to experience a new school year of ease, grace, etc.
So, what are you expecting for this season? Here’s how to make it a reality:
Here’s a few things on my list:
- Laughter
- Joy
- Wonder
- Curiosity
Let’s not make such a big deal about setting an unspoken standards for grades, activities, etc. Talk to your kids about what you’d like and get their buy in for any standards that are set.
Remember, as you get the haircuts, the new school supplies, the backpack – let’s make sure we don’t pack silent contacts with each other.
